Krista Morris

After raising three boys and working for IBM for 29 years as a Project Manager, Krista began to focus on her passions, including hiking, kayaking, birding, traveling, and teaching Zumba. She is a member of
the Catskill 3500 Club having climbed 35 peaks in the Catskills over 3,500 feet; a member of the Ralph T. Waterman Bird Club, which was named after her grandfather; a certified AFAA Group Fitness
instructor; and a licensed Zumba instructor. She also loves to travel and has incorporated hiking into many of her trips, including the Italian Alps, Ireland, Sedona, Yosemite and St John.

A few years ago, she began taking watercolor classes and workshops to pursue another dream: to become a watercolor artist. Her love for the outdoors and travel are reflected in her paintings.

Krista has studied with John Salminen, Mel Stabin, Eli Rosenthal, Charles Reid and Cheng Khee Chee. Most recently, she began studying with Betsy Jacaruso and Keith Gunderson at the Betsy Jacaruso Studio and Gallery in Rhinebeck and has recently joined the Cross River Fine Art Guild.
